Who is the FAW Requalification course for?
This course is intended for existing First Aid at Work certificate holders who are eligible to renew their qualification through the FAW Requalification route.
You should consider FAW Requalification if:
- you already hold a First Aid at Work qualification;
- your certificate is approaching its expiry date;
- you need to renew your qualification to continue acting as a workplace first aider; and
- you meet the applicable eligibility requirements for the requalification course.
Check eligibility before booking
FAW Requalification has eligibility and timing requirements.
If your existing certificate has already expired, please contact us before booking so that we can check the appropriate qualification route with you.
Workplace First Aid at Work certificates normally remain valid for three years. Once a certificate has expired, HSE states that the individual is no longer considered competent to act as a workplace first aider until appropriately requalified. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
