EFAW + Forestry First Aid Course
This course meets HSE recommendations for Emergency First Aid at Work in the Forestry sector. It’s an Ofqual approved first aid training course regulated through Qualsafe Awards.
If you already have an FAW or EFAW qualification, and just need to add on Forestry First Aid then we offer this course as a bolt on to your current qualification. It’s a 2 hour course, which we generally run at the end of our EFAW courses (1600-1800 approximately), upcoming dates are below.

QA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid + F (RQF)
Did you know that there were 1588 fatal injuries to workers in agriculture, forestry and fishing sector in the last 5 years?
The QA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.
Successful learners will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to treat a range of injuries and diseases that could occur in these environments, such as Lyme disease and catastrophic bleeding.
Designed to accompany a regulated First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, this nationally recognised qualification has been specifically developed to meet the recommendations of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy.
The duration of the course is 2 hours. To attend, candidates must be able to show evidence of a current First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
Certificates are valid for 3 years.
