Emergency Paediatric First Aid Deeside – This is the Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course. It’s a 1 day face-to-face course in a classroom setting. We can come to your venue, or alternatively we can conduct the course at our purpose build first aid training centre in Sandycroft, Deeside.

This is the Emergency Paediatric First Aid course you will need to book if your workplace, environment, event, etc. is involved with the care of children and babies.

If you are booking this course for a large number of delegates, then it may be more cost effective for us to come to your site. We also recommend you share your first aid risk assessment with us if it highlights high risk, e.g. for children or babies with disabilities or medical conditions. This enables us to add a bespoke element to the standard course with other potential emergencies that you are likely to encounter. Bear in mind, all our trainers are clinically qualified professionals; Doctors, Paramedics and A&E Nurses.

First Aid Skills

On completion of this Emergency Paediatric First Aid course, delegates will be able to provide a confident first aid response in the below emergency situations. They will learn basic life saving skills be able to asses and monitor the casualty and know where to get help from. In addition they will learn and understand workplace health and safety regulations.

Emergency Situations (children & babies only):

  • Unresponsive and breathing.
  • Unresponsive and not breathing. We will also cover the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
  • Seizures
  • Choking
  • Bleeding & Shock
