This is the Emergency First Aid at Work Course, usually abbreviated to EFAW. It’s a 1 day course which will help you comply with the regulatory requirements, if your risk assessment indicates, that first aid training covering emergency procedures only are sufficient for your workforce. We are also offering the course with a blended learning option. This allows you to complete part of the course in your own time via our online learning system. We offer this 1 day, Emergency First Aid at Work course (EFAW) to both businesses and individuals. It’s for anyone aged 16+ who wants to learn the skills necessary to assist in a first aid incident. Delegates will be able to provide a first aid response to a wide range of accidents in the workplace.

Delegates will be able to provide a first aid response to a wide range of accidents in the workplace.
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) recognise that this EFAW courses gives delegates a toolkit of practical skills and knowledge required by first aiders in the workplace. This gives trained first aiders the ability to be able to deal with first aid emergencies. It also helps organisations contribute to the required standards set by the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulation.
